The Sidebar

iA Writer Pro’s Sidebar provides quick access to core tools:

• Workflow: iA Writer Pro’s simple workflow, built around how you work.
• Format: Apply structural formatting to your text.
• Syntax: Get deep insight into how your text is constructed, or concentrate fully on one sentence at a time.
• Statistics: See characters, words, sentences, and Reading Time for the document or selection.

To show the Sidebar

In iA Writer Pro, select View ➤ Show Sidebar.

To hide the Sidebar

In iA Writer Pro, select View ➤ Hide Sidebar.

You can also collapse unneeded sections of the sidebar: move the pointer to the right of each section’s name then click Hide.
